Almost all mods can and should be installed via mod manager. Do not install mods manually. Due to the same reason, I won't be able to provide Kortex troubleshooting support in Discord - but once gain, it's a great mod manager and you should be absolutely feel free to try it.

It's looking pretty fancy visually, but sadly, it's still very glitchy and pretty dysfunctional.

I won't be able to provide any troubleshooting support if you're using it as it's not suitable for modding games like TES or FO. My advice atm is, if really want to, track it and test it by modding some other games with much simplier modding stages.

Do not use Vortex to mod Skyrim. Yes, this note still applies for If it will be fine one day, I'll let you folks know. If you allready have it - great.

If no - install it. It's obligatory. SKSE is [essential]. Stability mods are also working through it, as well as vastly majority of amazing gameplay mods.

Consider it a basic invisible evolution element of Skyrim. Download the SE version as marked here. Download the archive somewhere, unpack it.

From the folder, get the. On practice, it's also required by most of well-known mods in addition to SKSE. Optionally but very recommended as it's just looks so much more alive and beautiful install animated icons mod for it.

Also optionally, install this "wider" addon for MCM look. Also install iHUD. Get the. LOOT is a must-have tool if you planning to have many mods.

It's very easy to install and use. Its most basic and important function is mod sorting. Many mods should be loaded in strict load order to work properly together.

This mod should be loaded before that mod, but after that, and so on. LOOT makes miracles! You can automatically sort all your mods properly by just clicking button 2 times.

Sometimes it happens rare, so mostly you won't to think about it some mods have direct instructions about how they should be loaded, in this case it's also easy to sort them manually using it.

Also, LOOT shows you all you need to know about your mods instlalled - errors, missing records etc. In many cases, if something is not right - it will let you know and it will advise you.

Actually, you'll not need to read and lean more than this to use it, but if something is unclear or you want to look at very in-depth guide, check this awesome Gopher's video.

Use LOOT sorting each time after you've installed a few mods. This mod is a partial solution to endless game update issues in SE which breaks dll SKSE mods - it allows for such mods to keep working properly not depending on the game version.

Solution is partial because it doens't work automatically - each dll SKSE mod must be updated by its author to depend on this one, and as not all authors are aware about this or just active, this solution won't be universal - but it clearly will help you with many mods which are usually broken after every update.

Note: mods has TWO parts - first main file, the "Part 1" you can install with mod manager. Second, "Part 2", you should download manually, unpack and place all 3.

Fixes some SE engine bugs. Mods may contain "dirty" records and some other issues. And when you will have hundreds of mods, that could be a problem and potentially cause crashes.

Clean all mods that have dirty records until it's directly written by mod author to not do that for some reasons and all Skyrim's DLCs which have [hundreds] of dirty records.

Yeah - Betheshda didn't even bother to do this for the game "remaster". Don't be afraid of it, it's not so hard to use as it may look.

Note 1: Make double sure to clean all base game master files Update. Note 2: MO2 users can try to download and use zEdit instead. Which one to use, what is the difference?? Long story short, ASLAL provides more "roleplay-wise" starts - you will appear in a certain cell, depending on your start option choice, and also has plenty of additional start options addons.

Unbound will spawn you randomly, so less "immersive" start, but it allows you highly adjustable character customization gear, spells etc which ASLAL doesn't, and the most important - it allows you to play as NON-Dragonborn but you can "become" it in MCM anytime , which is really a great option.

RASR is somewhat like a mix of these two, a pretty underrated gem and Realm of Lorkhan is a really fresh and unique alternate start mod, which may look note quite "lore-friendly" to some players, but it's really well-designed and give you very interesting starting choices for your character class and even curses - negative attributes to balance class bonuses if you want so, all these features are entirely optional - my only 2 cents abou it is that some class bonuses are still somewhat too strong even with curses, so you may want to adjust them in TES5Edit, which is very simple.

I personally recommend to use Skyrim Unbound or Realm of Lorkhan, but it's totally up to you. Lastly, Realm of Lorkhan has on pretty immersion-breaking for some players thing - crystals you appear from after starting the game are not going anywhere and are just scattared across Skyrim.

Easy-to-use tool to convert meshes from LE to SE and backwards as well. This tool will help you. When you'll be browsing the ENB presets for Skyrim SE, you may get the feeling that not all, yet many of them are very similar to each other.

Yet, today SE ENB presets look pretty great and so here are some of the most well-made of them, and with different styles as much as it's possible in SE.

Rudy ENB While ENB preset choices is a matter of taste more then anything else - still, there are always some presets that are top-notch in terms of overall quality and balance.

It has amazing quality of shaders, a gret balance between fantasy, cinematic and realistic look, great performance. Great lighting, great water look and just absolutely polished approach to ENB tweaking in general - that's all about Rudy's preset.

In addition, you can always be sure it's always up-to-date with all newest ENB effects and it's also an absolute champion in terms of compatibility - it has version for almost each weather mod and compatible with all 3 popular lighting mods at the same time.

If you are not quite sure about ENB choice now, but wanna start from something really great - seek no more!

USe ENB preset's own weather plugin. Cold, dark and cinematic vibes with great shaders quality. First two presets are for Cathedral and Obsidian weathers respectively, and NVT has a lot of version for different weather mods.

Can be called a stripped down version of Tetrachromatic ENB for Skyhim LE as unfortunately proper vibrant, saturated presets are not possible on the same level as it was possible in LE.

If you're fan of vibrancy - this one is what you should definitely try. Also has a few color presets inside. X ENB Somewhat cinematic preset with "vanilla-wise" look in general.

Though, there may be some weird exterior lighting cases as only interior lighting changes are officially supported.

Imaginarium ENB Good-looking mix of "light" fantasy and realism. Visceral ENB Soft preset also pretty close to vanilla look, with tiny fantasy touch.

Organic ENB A stripped down brother of the same named preset in Skyrim LE, it comes with good touch of realism, a bit of vibrancy and generally soft look.

Prismatic ENB Very vibrant preset with indeed somewhat "prismatic" look which may be a good choice for people who love saturated presets.

Sin Xtreme Realism ENB A very realism-centered preset that also went not too far from vanilla look, but made it more contrast. Vividian ENB Nuff said from the name.

Looks pretty good balanced and gives cinematic touch to vibrant Vivid Weathers itself. But goes fine with vanilla weathers too. But goes fine with ELFX and vanilla lighting too.

That's it. That's a preset for you then. Once again, here's a simple "rule" - as the guide's task is to save your time as much as possible, installing and overwriting is very simple - just follow the lists of mods, pick what you like, install and overwrite everything "yes to all" for NMM and giving bigger priority in MO.

Mods are listed in the order which, after endless tests and mixing approaches, will lead to the most balanced and beautiful look.

In some separate cases where a selective overwriting will be needed, I'll notify you :. This does NOT mean such mods will destroy your performance if you don't have "NASA PC" - but it means you should install such mods carefully basically, testing ingame performance after such mod installation even on strong rigs, and avoid certain options or mods entirely on weak rigs.

Now choose between the next few mods. As an option, you can compare texture images manually and keep the ones you like, mixing these mods.

But in most cases, you won't need this, especially if you're a newcomer to Skyrim modding. Same is applied to each further "choose" notifications.

Just a few recommendations if you can't decide what to pick: 1 Get the Skyland and then overwrite it with Noble. Though, it's just my personal recommendations - always do as your heart and eyes are telling you :.

Now choose one from the next 3 mods which are retexturing Nordic dungeons somehow "forgotten" by big mods before, or just doing it better:.

Note 1: Always read the grass mod pages carefully, as each mod usually requires of settings in Skyrim. Implement them.

With the mods you have now, your game is already has an immense visual improvement in general. If you are not aimed on max results in terms of graphics, you can just skip the rest of graphics mods and continue to gameplay part of the guide.

But trust me - we're only beginning! The improvement in models, textures, lighting, weathers and various little, yet important details, can be significantly better.

I invite you to continue :. About these mods and which one to choose. Majestic is my personal 2 favourite mod, Northfire's are really photorealistic which fits the mod name, Excellent Mountains is a little gem from Pfuscher with immersive look and inredible texture details, Real and Rustic are pretty much close to vanilla look, and 8k exactly the 8k version is an absolutely overkill, so use 2k or 4k if you want that much and CC's UHQ mods are both looking pretty unique.

But what mod you're using, Sinitar? Take into account that clouds improvements are often included in weather mods, so if you're planning to use weather mods, read the respective mod pages carefully - separate cloud mods may be not compatible with them.

For all night sky related mods, if such a version is available, always install 2k resolution one. Everything is here.

Obsidan adds plenty of new weathers while keeping the ambience in the borders of canonic Skyrim look. Sharp and beautiful coulds, diverse weathers, volumetric mountain fogs and much more, making a beautiful, truly Skyrim'ish picture.

It's also the most ENB-supported weather mod, meaning the amount of ENB presets available to choose from, tweaked for it.

Download the archive, choose plugin you want, archive it, add to mod manager and install. Vivid Weathers The most popular weather mod for Skyrim SE which stands for its name - vivid, vibrant, tasty weathers with a very big variety.

The objective drawback is that it has somewhat more minor visual glitches than the LE version of the mod, but it's nothing critical and on practice, most likely you won't even notice.

Also has enough of ENB presets tweaked for it, but not close as much as Obsidian has, for example. Dolomite Weathers While Dolomite is technically a predcessor to Obsidian, I personally still prefer some elements from it over Obsidian's composition.

It's really diverse, with plenty of beautiful weathers but now that vibrant as Vivid Weathers , and with absolutely unrivaled clouds look.

Climates Of Tamriel "Old but good" weather mod that's making Skyrim weathers more interesting than it was in vanilla game, but still sticking much to original atmosphere as much as possible.

One can call it "vanilla weathers plus". Alternative sounds patch available. Aequinoctium - Weathers and Seasons A sharp, fantasy-realism weather mod with a noticeable photorealism touch.

You can also make a nice mix - using Obsidian, but with some Aequinoctium weathers merged in it, with the help of this patch.

Also has a good support in terms of ENB presets available. NAT - Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel An amazing candidate if you wanna weathers and general ambience be more cinematic.

But take into account while most of weather mods are giving 0 performance impact, NAT is much "heavier" compared to other weather mods for some reasons.

Rustic Weathers and Lighting A really well-made mod which has somewhat desaturated, "rustic" look, sticking close to original ambience.

Mythical Ages - weathers and lighting overhaul Another fantasy and bright weather mod, being somewhere between Obsidian and Vivid Weathers, I'd say.

Cathedral Weathers and Seasons This weather mod is using some assets from Obsidian and Aequinoctium mods listed above, resulting in somewhat mixed look of these two.

It also has a customization spell through which you can adjust saturation, contrast and so on. At the same time, as all ENB presets are tweaked for certain weather mods and certain conditions, usage of this options together with ENB becoming obsolete, as ENB control over the same values is superior - much more precize and easy to use.

This mod also sadly doesn't have much ENB presets adjusted for it compared to mods like Obsidian or Dolomite for example, but it's an option for those who are not able to run ENB at all due to weak PC - in this case mod's customization may come in handy.

Northern Saga Weathers and Seasons One more vibrant weather mod, but with some cold touches from time to time. Accompanying weather mods.

True Storms Special Edition - Thunder Rain and Weather Redone The mod make all types of storms much more realistic - severe, loud, deep, by overhauling both visual and audio apperance of them.

For me personally, it's doing this job better than any other weather mod above. But what about compatibility? Worry not! Check out this amazing author's page to get a compatibility for "Wet and Cold" immersion mod, as well as for most of other popular weather mods.

Lightning During Storms Yeah. No kidding. Vanilla game, even in "remastered" version, didn't have actual lightnings during the storms. That fixes it.

True Storms compatibility patch is provided in the link above. But if you like such extreme thunderstorms - it may be a good pick for you for actual walkthrough as well.

Wonders of Weather Rainbows. Shooting stars. Rain splashes. Simple as that. Load after other weather mods if using any. Enhanced Lights and FX The well-deserved most endorsed lighting mod of all times.

A complete overhaul to vanilla lighting while keeping it simple and not going away from original look. Better lighting. New light sources where needed.

More realistic lighting in dungeons and other interiors. Huge coverage. Best support from the side of ENB presets. Personal recommendation - if you're aimed on a heavy mod list, choose only the core mod itself and enhancer option and ofc SMIM-related option - don't choose exteriors option.

This patch plus this patch and this one are [absolutely essential]. This one and this one are very much recommended as well.

This mod has some patches for mods you may possibly have. Realistic Lighting Overhaul Another simply great lighting mod of a huge coverage and great popularity.

Aims on similar things like ELFX does, but has different look here and there. You may also find useful this mod which offers patches for two popular mods, and this one as well ofc, use them only if you'll be using the named mods.

Alternative and more lightweight approach to changing the game lighting - if you aren't sure, just try both mods above, and this combo, and then choose one you like the most : You may also find "no players homes" patch useful meaning you need it IF you're be using mods that affects vanilla player homes , as well as this one tiny fix choose the "Relighting Skyrim - Old Hroldan Fix" main file.

Amazing mod that's adding and improving shadows in interiors. The quality of these shadows is sometimes gives really a great difference in interiors look.

This said, it requires a lot of work to be made compatible with lighting mods above. Let me put it more clear and simple: until you're pretty experienced with xEdit and CK, and don't have several dozens of hours of free time - don't use this mod on top of other lighting mods above.

Use one or another. All the mods in this section are optional. They tranfsorm the landscapes of Skyrim in this or that way - adds or remove trees, making wilderness more dense or barren, change the look of terrain, roads, bridges, or just completely transforming Skyrim into something new - with spring, summer or purely winter region.

Choose and use what you personally like :. Skyrim Better Roads One of the most simple yet one of the most favorite mods of such type for me personally.

It makes huge amount of Skyrim roards to look more authentic and logical. It's also perfectly compatible with almost all the mods in this section.

My personal advice is to install version without bridges coverage to be able to use bridges-dedicated mods below.

Installing [all] main files is also recommended. It adds litearlly thousands of new objects here and there - from trees and cliffs, to urns and statues.

Forets, shores, mountains - everything in your game will have a fresh, yet pretty lore-friendly touch.

It has some flaws as well though - sometimes the placements of new objects are feeling generic and non much logical and it still has visual glitches mostly clipping or floating objects here and there.

Due to huge coverage it also may have compatibility issues like clipping if you will also have plenty of other landscape overhauls and settlement mods, so here you will need to be careful or just don't have much other similar mods alongside it.

Those issues are mostly cosmetic and won't break your game in technical meaning - the mod itself is simply huge and really great - so test it and decide yourself : To help you solve some possible compatibility issues easily, take a look at this neat patches page covering compatibility with some popular mods.

Also fully supports 3D LODs. Think no more! This mod creates a giant forest Falkreath-style in the desolated tundra of Whiterun hold. Also take a look on patches page - but take into account that mod doesn't have FOMOD installer - download the archive manually, delete all patches you don't need, keep those you do, archive it back, add to your mod manager and install.

Don't use together with previous mod, choose only one. Trees Addon A really well-made tree mod that follows "quality over quantity" approach and carefully places trees here and there to make scenery look better.

It also adds beautiful "king trees" from Enderal to Skyrim. Bent Pines II Another mod that adds huge trees here and there, but with different look.

Technically, you can use it together with Trees Addon, but on practice, I'd recommend to choose one. It features both dead and new alive trees types, making some places more grim and other - more alive, fitting the overall ambience of the regions.

It's also more performance-friendly and better compatibility-wise, then, for example, Enhanced Landscapes and has full 3D LODs support.

If no - you can try this one as an amazing Solstheim tree addon. It's a tropical rainforest overhaul for the Skyrim, covering most worldspaces of the base game and DLCs minus the visual overkill.

Trees, plants, grasses, weather ambience, sounds - everything to transform Skyrim into tropical-looking beauty. Skyrim 3D Landscapes This mod is really a massive work, but pretty much as "3D" trees mod, it often suffers from look of plants that absolutely doesn't fit into Skyrim.

The Ruins Beautiful mod that adds various ruined structures and statues across Skyrim. The flaw of this one is sometimes it may feel "too much" in certain places, and mod also has some events and references that are not lore-friendly and made for fun for example, Shrek references.

Still, this is all up to player's taste :. Ancient Land Don't want lore-unfriendly moments and occasional too much clutter that previous mod has, but love its approach still?

Think no more and try this one. Winter Overhaul An all-in-one overhaul that turns Skyrim into a real winter region - whole of it, from the author of Dark Forests of Skyrim.

New snow-covered trees, dead trees, more snowy weathers, snow-covered cities and so on. If you always thought that Skyrim should be more cold and snowy - that's a perfect mod for you.

Compatible with Obsidian and Vivid Weathers. Nordic Ruins of Skyrim Absolutely brilliant that overhauls some of the most memorable Nordic ruins of Skyrim, making the look much more badass, but immersive, feeling like the original part of the game at the same time.

A must-have mod in my humble opinion. Then check out this author profile. Flower Fields Pretty much self-explanatory name.

Adds vibrant, beautiful flower fields here and there. May be not much immersive in some cases, but a great option for anyone who wanna give Skyrim a bti more fresh, spring touch.

Master The Summit Like climbing the highest mountains? Want to mayeb abuse Skyrim's glitchy physics less often for that? Try this mod that adds a lot of wooden bridges, stairs and other useful things to explore the mountains and cliffs.

Skyrim Bridges My favourite bridge mod. Gives an overhaul to close to every bridge in Skyrim, making them look really unique and immersive.

Do NOT use together with the mod below, choose one or another. Covered Bridges of Skyrim An alternative if you don't like previous mod. More "simple" bridge overhaul.

Do NOT use together with the mod above, choose one or another. Northern Marsh Bridges Adds several wooden bridges across the northern marshlands of Hjaalmarch the region where some bridges would actually not hurt, imo.

You CAN use this mod together with one of previous mods as it only adds new bridges. Oblivion Gates Remade Adds several Oblivion gates to the game.

Gates are not functioning ofc, and serving more like and Oblivion nostalgia element. Rorikstead Basalt Cliffs Adds basalt cliffs around Rorikstead, giving the town a unique atmosphere.

Compatible with every Rorikstead overhaul. Windhelm Lighthouse Adds a lighthouse north of Windhelm. Everything to make them look better, expand, and sometimes even rebuild completely.

Take into account that in most of cases, you shouldn't use more than one mod that affects the same settlement, as this will lead to major clipping issues or a completely borked look - so if you're relatively new to modding, always just choose one mod affecting certain area.

But ofc there are some exclusions and some mod covering same settlements can be used together - on-fly or with certain tweaks - I'll notify about that.

Also take into account that some of these mods can heavily impact your FPS if you're not on high-end rig. First of all, let's take a look at some "big" settlements overhauls - the mods that cover many settlelements at once with certain own style:.

Now, I want to point yount attention on some not "whole-covering" mostly single-settlement , but highly prominent mods that cover this or that settlement.

Consider this my personal "essential mods besides the big overhauls" section:. Interior overhauls. Skyrim SE lacks some promiment interior overhauls, but still have a few gems as well.

Take into account that they may and will in almost all cases conflict if you'll be trying to use them together to get the biggest possible coverage, but it's easily fixed - just open mods affecting same cells in xEDit and delete the named cell from one of the mods and save.

Just read the mod pages attentively and you'll be fine. All mods here are NOT obligatory for installation - but it's recommended to go through them still, as it will greatly improve hundreds of more objects not touched before, or improve better then previous "big" mods with often absolutely exceptional quality.

The section below is the biggest one in meaning of mods quantity - so don't be afraid when you'll open it.

This is a process of plesantly smashing each ugly texture left, as much as possible. Creatures, dragons, armors and weapons, food, ingots, plants and hundreds of other objects till the tiniest details, like ruined books or gold pouches.

Many mods will ask you to overwrite - as your game has huge amount of objects retextured already. Just approve overwriting and keep going.

You're good to go. This mod is overloading your game - skip it. Improved and smartened vanilla creatures, hundreds of new creatures, lore-friendly and not up to your taste , new bosses and various improvements to vanilla guilds and factions - you will find them here.

Now let's see some other qualitative animation mods. Almost all animation mods are ports of their respective LE version - that's why, even the most qualitative mods often have at least couple of minor bugs - yet nothing actually dangerous though.

You can also port animations from LE to SE yourself using this tutorial. It's totally up to you - install them or not. Due to how they are made or how they are working, you should deal with them after your mod list is more or less complete.

Let's set them up - the final push is now! Q: why not to use Smashed Patch instead? It's said this tool is doing everything both Bashed and Merged patch are doing in terms of conflicts, but just better.

A: Mator Smash is indeed an amazing work! And indeed, if often covers more conflicting records merging then Bashed or Merged patch do, so if you're using Smashed Patch, you don't need neither Bashed or Merged.

But the thing is, whatever its algorithm is, it's doing those records merging pretty "wild" - often inaccurate, which can lead to various issues, from just weird ones, like double merchant stock, to more serious ones, like visible ingame bugs and crashes.

No automated tool is perfect Bashed and Merged too , but atm, Smashed Patch is just working too much inaccurate which can sometimes bring you more headache then good results.

Once again, this is a great tool with a lot of efforts put into it, but I simpyl can't directly recommend or disrecommend it.

Use at your own preference. You rig is pretty old, but you still want somehow to run ENB and some graphics mods? Don't worry, that's more then possible!

Please take into account that "low-end" is pretty wide term, so here I will just put all possible advice and tricks that may help you.

You can also refer to this section even if your PC is strong - to get more FPS for different purposes. Have too weak rig but still wanna have some of those tasty graphics mods?

Have a strong rig, but need to gain a few FPS? Look here! What can I do? If you don't want to go trough the whole list yourself and think about which mods and how to combine, or just don't have time - this section is what you need!

Below you can find several "plug and play" mod lists that I personally compiled - so you don't have to worry about testing mods, finding which play well together and which not - don't have to worry about compatibility at all.

Just choose the mod list that you like the most, by reading its description - and then simply mimic it in no time.

Playing modded Skyrim or Skyrim at all first time? Wanna have casual combat and be OP? Hardcore combat and survival? Lightweight mod list with "vanilla plus" experience or super-heavy mod list where each tiniest details is improved?

Modules section has a mod list for any preference. Modules can also list certain ENB presets that I see "fitting" the mod list purpose in general and have certain advice about graphics mods in general - but these recommendations is just a cosmetical advice.

Important note 1: each of modules assumes you already implemented Stability and Graphics parts of the guide. I won't be able to provide any troubleshooting if you didn't make the Stability part.

Implement it. Important note 2: some of the mod lists names may be hinting their setup, some no - mostly I just picked the names I wanted and that's it.

Name of the mod list can be purely cosmetic at all. So make sure to read each module description, besides the name. Important note 3: after you mimic the mod list any of it , proceed to the "Mods to be installed or actions to be made in the end of modding process" section.

This module is a perfect mod list if you're playing Skyrim for the first time at all. Any TES game is an immensely huge, many times bigger than any other game of similar type - and it's an unspoken canon to first time play game without changing it by mods.

First of all, if you'll install a lot of mods to your first walkthrough - you will be simply lost in amount of features, spells, items, quests and so on - because you won't have experience of original game.

Secondly, playing with original functionality will help you to see how insane is the difference between vanilla and modded game. It will be still the vanilla Skyrim experience, just better.

Additional recommendations for graphics mods: from big texture packs, Osmodius or Skyrim Realistic Overhaul are recommended. As for the grass mod, go for Northern Grass or Verdant.

Don't use weather mods. As for landscape overhauls, I'd recommend to not use any, maybe only Skyrim Better Roads , same goes for settlement mods - keep the vanilla settlements for now.

Now sort your load order using LOOT and you're good to go. Also, if you're owner of a windescreen monitor, install this fix and take a look ad low-end section of the guide if you have weak rig or just need to gain a few FPS.

Note: the "Mods to be installed or actions to be made in the end of modding process" section isn't required for this mod list. You can make step 1 in it, but that's up to you.

Just as much enough of everything to have a good "tease" of modded Skyrim yet with very fast modding process.

Additional recommendations for graphics mods: from big texture packs, Skyland or Noble are recommended. As for the grass mod, go for Northern Grass , Verdant or Veydosebrom.

Now proceed to the "Mods to be installed or actions to be made in the end of modding process" section. Required steps are 1, 3 and 4.

Step 6 DynDOLOD is optional - it will make your game distant objects absolutely beautiful, but it requires some time to read about the installation, so decide yourself.

After you've finished these steps, just sort your load order with LOOT and you're ready to go. This module is highly immersive one, for player who wanna have overall game improvements and some new feature and content here and there for sure, but want Skyrim harsh environment to be the main challenge in first turn, without hardcore combat itself.

Plus all possible visual and others imemrsive moments here and there. The winds chilling to the bones, dangerous waters and deseases, hunger and thirst, and of course, cozy warming at your camp fire.

With this mod setup, game will be cruel and dangerous to you, in first turn, because of fearsome, strongly realistic survival aspects.

Lastly, you may be interested in beautiful Winter Overhaul to add to harsh winter Skyrim abmience in terms of scenery appearance.

Now, choose between the next 2 mods. Both are great, and both have own advantages and disadvantages over each other. Read the mod pages and choose one your prefer yourself.

I'd personally advise to go with iNEED, but once again, that's totally up to you. These mods are absolutely optional. You can install all of them or none, depending on your own vision of immersion depth you need:.

Drunken Huntsman is a "golden middle" in terms of heavy-modded game. It's already a pretty heavy mod list that's making gameplay not only expanded, but greatly challening.

It also adds much more new content as well as new gameplay features in each modding category. It's a mod list for those who already played with mods for some time and want "advance to the next level" and build their first really heavy-modded game - but, it's also not "that" huge to become ovewhelming in terms of both gameplay or modlist building process itself.

Take into account that this module will make your game much harder - but also much more rewarding. Additional recommendations for graphics mods: from big texture packs, Noble or Pfuscher pack are recommended you can also install Pfuscher pack on top of Noble.

As for the grass mod, go for Northern Grass , Viscous or Verdant , or look at Short Grass if you wanna more "green" summer look of groundcovers.

Now, choose one of the next 2 mods. The next 3 mods are absolutely optional - install them if you wanna to have "lite" survival experience in your game.

All 3 mods are very lightweight and won't give any script issues to your setup. Now proceed to the "Mods to be installed or actions to be made in the end of modding process" section and follow the steps in it.

This module is for those who don't want neither hardcore combat or survival challenges, but have and endless adventuring spirint and wish to visit as many new lands and dungeons, make as many quests, solve as many puzzles and mysteries as possible.

If you're sure you'll be playing exactly with this archetype now - look here for sure. Note: this module focuses on [dedicated] mods - meaning for a complete mod list, you will still need to go through sections of the guide, but you will have a solid core mods base exactly for this playstyle or can visit this section just to make sure you didn't miss anything.

Now some armors which I personally see greatly fitting rogue types of characters. Their installation is absolutely up to you ofc:.

Meanwhile, you can also watch a few unique modded character builds available at my YT channel:. Now, we're also installing a number of programs that interact with Skyrim and it's mods.

Most of these should not be installed into the Skyrim directory. You should, instead, create a folder called "Skyrim Modding" somewhere on your computer where you can download and unpack these utilities.

This allows me to keep all my modding stuff in one place, divided up by game. During this guide, I will assume you are using my file structure, so adapt it to yours if yours is different.

This file structure is not required, it is just recommended for ease of navigation. While I'm talking about these folders, I have a recommendation.

You want to be able to access these files easily, right? Pin these folders in the Quick Access Menu!

You can drag a folder to the quick-access or right-click the folder and select "Pin to quick access", and it won't be moved. It's just adding a shortcut so you can easily access it from most of the windows you'll be using.

In my Quick Access, I have:. If you are doing a fresh Skyrim install, run the game once to initialize data before beginning the process and moving forward in this guide!

To do this simply launch Skyrim from Steam once, let the Splash menu appear and set your graphics settings and then exit.

This allows Skyrim to set up some necessary file paths. Whether you are looking to do a light touch-up to your game or a complete overhaul of every aspect it is highly recommended that you use a mod manager.

This will help you keep track of your mods and also provide a safer modding experience. MO is our recommended mod manager for a multitude of reasons.

This is different than Load Order and managing overwrites via a drag and drop list is something exclusive to Mod Organizer. More importantly, it keeps your Skyrim data folder completely clean.

Let's go over why these two functions of MO are beneficial They don't all replace the same textures but they do overlap on a few textures these are the conflicts between these mods You decide yes or no for the conflicts and click OK.

Next you hop into your game and run around looking at your sexy new textures. Depending on the size of the mod and how specific you like to be with your texture choices, this can take minutes.

NMM is also more prone to accidentally leave files behind or not handle all the overwrites properly, which may leave you with some files you didn't want or expect from previous uninstallations.

Now imagine that you have 50 texture mods Then we install Texture Pack B. There is no overwrite prompt and they are both loaded into the left list Mod List.

It took 3 seconds. Reorganizing those 50 texture mods is as simple as dragging and dropping. To make your Mod List drag and drop choices even easier MO will indicate a conflict with either a lightning bolt with a plus sign conflict winner or a lighting bolt with a minus sign conflict loser.

If it is a lightning bolt with a plus and a minus it is winning some and losing some. You can check these conflicts by double clicking a mod and navigating to the "Conflicts" tab.

Generally for mods with. Beyond these two very useful functions there are other, more advanced, features that you will learn to use along your modding journey.

We implore anyone, beginner or advanced, to start with or switch to Mod Organizer. While it takes a little longer to learn, the time saved in mod management down the road far outweighs the time spent learning it initially.

Sensing a theme here? Whichever method you choose, you should now have a "Mod Organizer" folder in your "Modding Utilities" folder. Right-click the modorganizer.

This will create an MO shortcut on your desktop it doesn't actually move the original. When you first run MO it will give you a tutorial and ask if you want the program to handle.

Answer "Yes" as this will allow you to use the "Download with Manager" button that a lot of mods have on their Nexus pages. If you missed this, navigate to the Nexus tab in the settings and click the button to "Associate with 'Download with Manager' links" Also be sure to open the settings the wrench and screwdriver icon on the top bar and enter your Nexus Login Information and tell it to remember.

The first thing to do now that you have MO installed is to disable the modorder system. MO includes an automatic left pane sorter however it is incredibly buggy and unreliable.

It regularly endlessly tries to order the same mods above each other, resulting in endless warnings, and other mods it places in incredibly bad positions which could result in a broken game.

Do not use this system. To disable it from providing warnings, follow these instructions:. You can refer back to these steps as we work through the guide and start adding the rest of the utilities.

To launch a program, simply select it from the list and hit "Run". The benefit to this is now you don't need to switch between 5 different launchers We will practice this in the next section with LOOT.

This will save you massive amounts of time over trying to manually adjust your entire load order by hand. Load Order is exactly what it sounds like.

It is the order in which Skyrim loads. If someone asks you to post your Load Order this is what they are asking for. This is incredibly important for a few reasons.

The first reason is that one mod may rely on another mod in order to function properly if this is the case the mod author will indicate this on the description page.

A "master" is any other. For instance every mod and DLC depends on Skyrim. If you hover over an. Let's use "Wet and Cold.

Wet and Cold - Ashes. If the game tries to load Wet and Cold - Ashes. Also worth noting that sometimes Load Order isn't about one mod necessarily relying on another When two mods try to do the same thing it is known as a "Conflict".

A conflict is not necessarily a bad thing. Usually it is just a matter of deciding which mod "wins" the conflict. The way that load order works is in a top to bottom fashion.

It lists your mods and assigns them a number, zero through however many mods you have up to So the top of the list is 0 and the bottom is Skyrim loads 0, then 1, then 2.

This means that when you are looking at a mod list the mod towards the bottom in the Load Order overwrites the mod towards the top in the load order.

If this is the case the mod author will indicate it in the mod description as well as either providing a download for a patch they created themselves or a link to download a patch created by someone else.

Another reason you must be sure to read everything thoroughly! LOOT load order may look messy, but it resolves the vast majority of issues.

Sorting mods by category does not work and will result in an inconsistent or even broken game. If you find it does not sort a particular conflict correctly, you can submit an issue here with the exact details necessary for the LOOT team to update the masterlist and fix the issue.

Just open Skyrim through Steam, let the splash menu load, and then exit. MO might already recognize it in which case you don't have to do this step.

An additional step is to add the line "--single-process" without quotes to the "Arguments" line for LOOT. This solves an issue where sometimes LOOT will launch to a blank screen.

No harm will come from adding this argument so I advise it as a pre-emptive step. Select "Apply" Review the output for any warnings. Overview: SKSE does exactly what it sounds like.

It expands Skyrim's scripting language, allowing for more robust mods. It also incorporates the startup memory allocation patch, the single most important patch for a stable Skyrim modding experience.

Both of these will be outlined below. SKSE will not work if its files are not in the Skyrim directory. This is how you will launch Skyrim from now on!

Not through Steam! Not through TESV. Rename the new text document to skse. If you don't know how to show file extensions, watch this quick tutorial on showing file extensions in Windows: How To Show File Extensions.

ENBseries is a post-processing and shader effects overlay template. In a nutshell it it allows people to create ENB presets that add things like Depth of Field, Ambient Occlusion, Subsurface Scattering and other complex post processing visual enhancements.

For now all you need to worry about is ENBoost which is a feature that comes with all the current ENBseries downloads. More information on ENB can be found here.

I'm sure you can understand why this patch is beneficial. This patch is recommended even if you don't plan on using an ENB preset!

Win10 doesn't bother installing older versions of DX and without this your game will crash at launch. Create a new folder inside the "Versions" folder and name it "xxx" Where x is the version number.

Do this for every new version of ENBseries you download. For example if I downloaded ENBseries v0. Click the link above to get the latest ENBseries version The versions are listed at the bottom of the page.

It is a very small black arrow in a box! Do NOT click any other "download" links on the page! Open the enblocal. Overview: Wrye Bash is, at it's core, another mod manager, however we will not be using it as such.

Even though we aren't using it as a mod manager, it still an essential tool as it provides something that no other utility can: the Bashed Patch.

First a brief explanation of Skyrim's leveled list. These lists are called a "Leveled Lists". The issue here is the rule of one - when one mod adds something to the leveled list, and then another mod comes along and adds something else to the same leveled lists, only the changes from the second mod in the load order are taken into account.

If you have a lot of mods adding stuff to the same leveled lists like if they all add a sword for example , you still only get the changes from one mod.

This is a common type of conflict - definitely not the only kind! It uses these tags to create the patch. Navigate to the "Skyrim Modding" folder and create a new folder called "Wrye Bash".

Run the installer and point it to your Skyrim game folder. Make sure the boxes for "Install for Skyrim" and "Standalone" are checked.

Doing this will create a folder titled "Mopy" in the Skyrim directory. This is the Wrye Bash folder and home to Wrye Bash.

Please note: Making a bashed patch should be a final step before finally playing. Making a bashed patch before you install your mods and set a load order will have no effect.

At the bottom of your Load Order you will see a "Bashed Patch, 0. Wrye Bash will now produce a small log indicating the changes it made to leveled lists and your mods.

Upon exiting Wrye Bash you will find the newly created Bashed Patch, 0. If you do not see the Bashed Patch in your mod list: Check the overwrite folder at the bottom of the mod list.

Inside you will find the Bashed Patch 0. Close the overwrite folder, right-click it, and select "Create Mod".

It's pretty saturated so some people can find it less lore-friendly for Skyrim. But my personal advise is to try it for sure!

It also has 3 levels of performance options. This is a preset I'm currently using version for VW. Not so saturated as Tetrachromatic, and also with fully-working night eye as well as tweaked adaptation effect, that is great for mages - you'll not more blind yourself with your fire spells in dark dungeons.

Amazingly performance-friendly. Maybe the best ENB in terms of performance between all modern presets. It also has several LUTs color templates you can switch directly ingame.

Amazing visuals and great performance! Don't use any weather mods. Do not look for a lot of realism in these ENB's as that is not the goal or aim behind them.

Colleciton has 6 presets that support latest ENB binaries. If you like such fantasy and vintage look, try them for sure! Don't use any lighting mods.

It's very bright so may be pretty "matter of taste". It's really FPS-hungry, maybe one of the most I've ever used, but its visuals absolutely worth it.

On the other hand, it's pretty FPS-hungry. But powerful rig can handle it. Even it's pretty old, give it a try. Can be used with vanilla lighting as well.

Has 4 versions: for Vanilla weathers, Black and White version and 2 more verstion for weather mods. Just use "gameplay" DOF with it.

It also has smart installer with many performance and other options. It's very "matter of taste" one, but if you like photorealism and strong exposure - try it.

Though, as for me, ELFX works just fine. Not so bright and a bit more fantasy-like. It supports huge amount of new land mods which is also great.

Take into account that it has additonal. Don't use any weather mods besides its own. Don't use any lighting mods besides its own.

It has pretty good performance and about 20 very original custom weathers. Presets differs - from realism to great saturation.

Has compatibility with many weather mods. Though, as for me, personally, ELFX worked just fine. This preset basically updates it to the latest ENB binaries.

And greatly fitting Vivid Weathers too. Also more somewhat vibrant. VERY special preset. Well, you'll see. So many awesome presets! I hope you'll find the one and only for you : This list is, of course, doesn't have all possible ENB presets existing on Nexus, but to place them all here would simply have no sense.

That's why I've uncluded some really qualitative or original ones here. You, of course, may and should choose any you like :.

As an option, you can compare texture images manually and keep the ones you like, mixing these mods.

Install it if you like its textures more than previous ones. If no - skip. Very fps-friendly alternative to previous mod, but ofc not so rich detailed.

Compatible with SFO. Grab it!. So, basically, it will only install textures not covered by other mods.

You can also try this retexture addon for it. Install it if you want more fantasy-like colored water. Install it if you want your water to be more transparent and light-blue.

You can also use darker grass textures patch if your ENB preset is too bright. There's also a textures replacement addon available.

That's what I'm currently using myself. One of my personal favourites atm. Though, this mod takes it somewhat too much often, and leaves chunks of terrain bald.

A completely optional mod. This mod is my personal favourite. Can be installed on top on any of previous mods in this section. Standalone mod if you want something like "very light" version of Enhanced Landscapes.

A blue-colored fantasy overhaul for the Rift region. Fantasy trees and flora additions for the whole Skyrim now. Amazing dark fantasy style overhaul for Skyrim featuring dead and living trees with new forested areas.

Personally using it now. Beautiful and with huge coverage, tropical overhaul for Skyrim. A massive "treefication" of Whiterun region. You may also be interested in patches for it.

Also this mod big flaw is that almost no ENB presets are tweaked for it. Brilliant weather mod! Pros: Newest weather mod. Biggest amount of weathers comparing with COT and Purity.

Constantly updated. Has an MCM menu to configure brightness and saturation ingame without tweaking any. Covers most of unofficial DLC-sized mods!

Also it has the less amount of ENB presets compatible as it's new, but this list grows almost each few days. Natural Lighting and Atmospherics Awesome mod, but it changes vanilla weathers only.

Also it has some awesome lighting effects. If you like it, you should defenitely try NLVA see below. The newest one as well. Mod authors spent hundreds of hours to take and mix the best weathers and other effects from Vivid Weathers and Natural Lighting and Atmospherics.

You need [only] weahter mod from it's files to have it's weather. This is related to ENB installation, which you already have.

Pros: awesome lighting mod with the widest amount of options so the most configurable. Most fresh one. Also get this one too. Current mod version of USCP 1. Should be removed in next version, but until then, you can do it yourself. Don't worry, it's absolutely easy.

Not officially compatible with most of ENB presets, so check the look yourself. Now you there's a one optional mod you can isntall. It's compatible with all of lighting mods above, but in a "complex" way - besides adding amazing shadows, it also modifies or adds billions of lighting sources, which may cayse weird visuals when using with other lighting mods.

So test deeply before keeping it, or just use it alone. Let me put it more clear and simple: until you're pretty experienced with xEdit and CK, and don't have several dozens of hours of free time - don't use this mod on top of other lighting mods.

Use one or another. The quality of these shadows is sometimes simply stunning! Just look on the screenshots and you'll get what I mean.

But once again, this mod installation is optional and hyghly NOT recommended on top of other lighting mods. But for the best result I kindly advise to install them in the same order as in guide.

In overall, many of mods in this section can be made compatible, but in that case - read compatibility notes carefully at mod pages.

Why "Hold the City Overhaul" isn't in this list? It's bugged af and mod author ignores most of bug reports for monthes.

It has a great modular installer so you can choose whice part to install and which not to install. This feature allows you to install it with other similar mods with maximum compatibility.

Note: use the latest [old] version of the mod - the "shiny WIP" one is stip in early development and has plenty of bugs.

It adds really big amount of objects to towns, making them look very detailed. Cons: It's a most performance-hit mod from all the similar mods.

But it's quality worth it. It's all about your rig power. I would say it's at the middle between performance hit, details amount and lore-friendship.

Pretty good compatible with other similar mods. Just read the mod pages attentively and you'll be fine. Take into account that it may cause some clipping when conflicting with cities mods, so test properly before keeping it.

You can also simple remove the trees you don't like via console. Choose this mod or the one below. Bigger and better fort iteself with new fortifications and buildings.

Chapel, library, bathhouse and prison inside. As you progress through the quest-line, Fort Dawnguard will gradually be cleaned up and restored until its back to its original glory.

Choose this mod or the one above. Also take into account that it's pretty freshly released, so you may have to wait for various compatibility patches to appear though with the nature of the mod, there won't be many hard compatibility issues in first turn.

Should also have better compatibility with big Whiterun-affecting mods. Don't use with other mods that changes Whiterun majorly.

Should be mostly fine with mods that adds trees in the city. Compatibility - same as previous mod. It adds beautiful green grass to Whiterun streets, but it eats plenty of FPS and even more if you have city mods.

Whiterun not looking to be the trading hub everyone calls it? Then this mod is exactly what you are looking for. Don't forget to install a fix patch for it.

A patch for Better Solitude Docks is also available. Besides being highly detailed and not just adding symbolical clutter or buildings, new buildings are functional, NPC wear near armors etc.

You can see a showcase of it in my video here. Not compatible with other Dawnstar overhauls. Gives Winterhold a really glorious look.

Restored ruined houses into shops, a stable with 4 horses, adds custom-voiced merchants, a Player cabin, a protective stone wall around the town.

Compatible with all previous cities mods! Imcompatible with mods that change th esame area. Obviously not compatible with mods like JK's Skyrim.

Some minor clipping may occur though, which is not critical and you can remove clipping objects by typing "disable" in console when clicking on them.

For best possible results, I'd recommend to use it with Pfuscher stonefloor textures for Markarth. Meaning when installing you can overwrite everything and NOT overwrite stonefloor texture.

Additionally, this mod also retextures dwarven ruins. Compatibility - same as the previous one. Has minor visual imcompatibilities with JK's Skyrim.

Apart from the usual fish merchandise there are new food items: fish cans and salted fish. Also grab the fix from Files tab.

Sadly, mostly not compatible with mods that change this town. Mostly incompatible with similar mods. Compatible with most of popular mods that change Rorikstead.

Each mod separately can be also found in author's profile. Blue Palace Overhaul 5. Compatibility instrcutions - same as for the mod above, and ofc, choose one or another.

Compatible with Blue Palace overhauls. It gets rid of the stucco from the inside of the dome and replaces it with four different pictures. The leisure centre has plenty of NPCs walking around which include a merchant in the bar area.

Patch for Immersive College of Winterhold is available in Files section. This mod aims to change that up a little. New structures and walls have been built in the major forts of Skyrim.

Some walls are still wooden palisades until a civil war faction takes over from the bandits. The walls and decorations will dynamically change depending on which faction currently has ownership of the fort.

Shrines to Talos dominate Stormcloak forts while shrines to Akatosh take up the mantle in Imperial held forts. Grab it for sure. Now it is.

And here's also DSR patch for it. This mod will let you claim the mine for a faction of your choice, preventing bandits from spawning there again.

ENBseries is a post-processing and shader effects overlay template. In a nutshell it it allows people to create ENB presets that add things like Depth of Field, Ambient Occlusion, Subsurface Scattering and other complex post processing visual enhancements.

For now all you need to worry about is ENBoost which is a feature that comes with all the current ENBseries downloads. More information on ENB can be found here.

I'm sure you can understand why this patch is beneficial. This patch is recommended even if you don't plan on using an ENB preset! Win10 doesn't bother installing older versions of DX and without this your game will crash at launch.

This is a common type of conflict - definitely not the only kind! It uses these tags to create the patch. Navigate to the "Skyrim Modding" folder and create a new folder called "Wrye Bash".

Run the installer and point it to your Skyrim game folder. Make sure the boxes for "Install for Skyrim" and "Standalone" are checked.

Doing this will create a folder titled "Mopy" in the Skyrim directory. This is the Wrye Bash folder and home to Wrye Bash. Please note: Making a bashed patch should be a final step before finally playing.

Yes you are sure what you are doing! Close TES5edit and when prompted check the box to create a backup, make sure the file you just cleaned is checked, and then hit Save The cleaned master will now be in your overwrite folder, along with a folder called TES5Edit Backups containing the original uncleaned version of Update.

Right-click the Overwrite folder which should now just contain the clean Update. Name it "Update - Clean". Sidenote: The overwrite is where MO puts files when it doesn't know what to do with them, so that the user can decide for themselves what should be done.

Best practice is to keep the overwrite clean. Given that you have no mods right now this won't really do anything, but the more your mod list grows the more important it becomes to have a merged patch and learn to edit it by hand.

We'll walk through the steps as sort of "practice run". When you actually have a full mod-list you will want to rebuild this.

Once the merged patch is created you can, if you wish, double click it to drop open its contents. Here you can adjust things by hand.

This takes some practice but it's a great way to learn what mods are doing internally and being able to create your own patches to fix conflicts.

Note that at this point, with no other mods installed, your merged patch will not contain anything! It resolves conflicts in mods. Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch as mentioned earlier handles these records much more intelligently and will give you a better result.

When you are satisfied with your tes5merged. You should now find the tes5merged. Right-click the overwrite and select "Create Mod".

Since you probably don't have any mods installed yet the merged patch will be empty. You made it over the first mountain on your journey towards a modded Skyrim!

Then maybe a third time. Make sure you completely understand what the mod does, how to install it, what it's compatibilities are, etc. If you don't take the time to really understand it chances are it will be your fault when it breaks.

Always download from the Files tab on the Nexus page. This is a big one. The "Download NMM " button at the top of the description page will only grab one main file.

Check the Posts tab. This will give you an idea of what other people are saying about the mod. Is it incredibly buggy? Does it only have a few issues?

Are those issues easily resolved? Does it simply work amazingly? The Posts tab will give you these insights.

The Unofficial Patches: Even if you used no other mods you should be using these, as they fix thousands of bugs in vanilla Skyrim and it's DLCs, from minor issues to major game-breaking ones Bethesda never patched.

Even if you bought all the DLC separately you meet the requirements for any mods that are for the Legendary version of the game. First step is to download everything we need.

Before the individual patches were merged into the legendary patch quite a few mods listed the individual patches as masters.

That being said, occasionally you may find a mod who's author is no longer active that relies on one of the older individual patches.

This is where the Swap Masters Script I link to comes in handy. If you have a mod that is missing a master, MO will put a red warning flag next to its plugin, and the warning flag in the top of MO will turn red.

You can hover over the plugin to see what master plugin it needs. Everyone should download the Unofficial Skyrim Patch makes sense right?

Additionally, you should grab whichever patches apply to the DLC you own. If you own all the DLCs ignore this section and use the instructions above for the legendary patch.

Note that these now say they are "unsupported"! This does NOT mean they are broken in any way. They still fix thousands upon thousands of bugs.

Unsupported refers to the fact that any new fixes will only be applied to the Legendary patch. These are no longer updated. Another good incentive to grab the Legendary Edition on a Steam sale!

It should sort each patch directly after its corresponding DLC like so:. Honestly though, we recommend the Optimized Vanilla Textures.

Basically, this mod optimizes the original textures so that there is no difference in visual quality but improved performance through less vram usage.

This mod not only vastly improves the User Interface menus and such for PC gamers, but also brings us the Mod Configuration Menu MCM which many other mods utilize to give you in-game control over various mod settings!

The MCM is truly what makes this mod absolutely essential. Let's grab a few more just so we can deal with some different types of installation and downloading practices.

Unlike the Unofficial Patches and SkyUI, these are not essential and you are free to remove them after installing. I just want to go over these so you are comfortable with some different steps you may encounter during installation of a mod.

For this example we will be using Static Mesh Improvement Mod SMIM This mod aims to improve a megaton of Skyrims blocky meshes, by increasing their polygon count, thus adding much more detail.

See the full description and images for a better idea. For this example we will cover how to install a mod that is not packaged in a way that MO recognizes.

Mod Organizer needs its mods to mimic this file path. MO essentially needs to "trick" the game into thinking these mods are in the actual data folder.

This means that the file paths within the mod must mimic the Data folder file paths. When there is "no game data on the top level" this means that MO doesn't recognize the file structure as one that will work.

As I said in the beginning of this section, it's always better to download from the Files tab as opposed to the "Download NMM " button at the top of the description page.

First you will notice there are two main files. The author gives a brief description of each with his recommendation. In the next section you will find Optional files.

These are various add-ons for the DLC and other major landscape mods, as well as a few add-ons that adjust to the look of the waterfalls and windmills for personal preference.

Finally, in the next section, you will find Miscellaneous files. Read the notes next to each file to see what it's about!

By clicking the "Download NMM " button at the top of the description page you would have missed the all these optional add-ons and patches!

Always check the Files tab! You can still use the "Download with Manager" button, just use the ones associated with each individual file on the Files Tab instead of the one at the top of the page.

From here you have all the necessary tools, and should you know how to you use them for a fluid modding experience. Sometimes we miss a small detail that can solve a problem.

Look for compatibility patches. Sometimes they are completely seperate mods and not included in the Files tab for the main mod Search the Files tab on a mod's Nexus page for optional files patches or other optionals.

Read the Posts tab to find out what others are saying about the mod. Rebuild your Bashed Patch every time you add a mod that adds items. If you're not sure Better safe than sorry!
